We're Ava and Alberta: sisters, teachers, and artists. We've been dreaming together since we jumped off our chest of drawers, believing we could fly. Our closet became our spaceship, a magnolia tree our secret castle, and our grandmother's garden our enchanted kingdom. Our mother taught us the joy of creating and the art of nonsense. We learned embroidery on our grandmother's front porch and heard bedtime stories about sirens and gorgons and panthers stalking the woods at midnight. We believe in magic and silliness, in sisters and dreams, in lavender silk dresses and bottle trees, but, most of all, we believe in the strength of the creative spirit. We still believe we can fly.I think their work speaks for themselves,so please go and have a look, get inspired, and learn to fly!
Leslie not only shares her lovely creations ,but she tells the readers how she created them and gives great tips, tricks and step-by-step instructions on how she made them.
I know you will definitely NEED to add Leslie's blog to your google reader, or bookmark it. I did! I can't wait to see what she has to share with her readers in the new year!

I don't really know where to start telling you why I love this project - so just observe and love!
Here's the close up. I just absolutely love the way Carole layers up the flowers and 3D elements in her designs.

And my favorite of all is this adorable card with the birdies and all those tiny buttons across the bottom. Gotta love that big pink bow, too!
To see more of Sarah's creations, you can visit her blog, found HERE. Blessings everyone! Becky

Isn't this altered matchbox just stunning! Louise's blog is one of my favourite places to stop for inspiration and her creative passion never ceases to amaze me. Click here to see her beautiful canvases and other amazing altered items.
I just love the colours on this layout. They are bright, but not too overpowering. The different textures on this page are great too!
Just look at the doodling! Fantastic!
This page is the one that inspires me most! There are more details on Lythan's blog on how to create the photograph effect. I just absolutely adore it!
I hope you go and take a look at this great blog .. although, be warned, you will need to fill up your pot of tea before you start! There are a few years worth of entries to help you spend your day browsing and 'aaahh-ing'
Thank you so much to Lythan for letting me feature her work.
Love to all,
Jo x

You can see plenty more of Jen's beautiful work at her blog i{heart}2 stamp.

I was BLOWN AWAY when I visited her blog today and saw these vintage Christmas Cards. I really can't stop looking at them. Kim used artwork she found in a thrift store to make these. I'm totally blown away. I'll admit I rarely think to look for artwork to use like this. And she added just the right embelishments to really make each one delicious.

Don't you just love that precious stamp, and the colors she used throughout? And I love the vintage ribbon she used as well, and how she placed it. Just precious!
The adorable little girl with the large flower, all the layering and textures Cindy uses, and I just love those smooth gems that are scattered aroud the card - all of these elements add up to on gorgeous card!

I'll leave you with THIS link to take a look at this CUTE card she made!!!! :O)
Have a happy Monday!!!

Rini love's nature, especially the sea and birds. This beautiful fabric hanger reprecents a feeling of freedom. Do you fall for Rini's artwork too? Go see some more beautiful artwork here and say "hi" to Rini!

Take care all,
Love Jo xx
As if applique guitars wasn't enough, look at this vintage feel lining! (and hot model, I need some hot models for my stuff)
Then there is this adorable apron. With a star on it! Don't feel the guitars and stars? No fear, she's got tons of these, with tons of patterns, atomic looking ones, doggies, all sorts. :)
Then there is this bag. I LOVE this bag. It's so not big enough for me with all the crap I have to carry but I dream of some day not having to carry diapers and extra toys and snacks and so on and instead carrying this super perfect bag. (Karyn makes them in a bunch of colors)
Oh look! Chicken print inside! This actually DIRECTLY inspires me to make bags that are solid or muted on the outside then just go funky on the inside. This bag has also inspired the several yards of corduroy I currently own.
There is more! She makes baby bibs too. It's all darling just like these. I love the funky look. Swoon~~
