Gobsmacked!

Evening..

sorry for the title.. but there's no other word for this blog... It's so inspirational to me for one reason only - but before I tell you why, I'd like you to take a look at these cards.

As you can see, this person's cards are absolutely stunning. There is so much detail goes into each card, the flowers, the layering and the total finish of the card inside and out, is just stunning. The colouring is so nice.

So why is she inspirational to me?

Well, this young lady is called Hanna, who has the most amazing blog HERE. There are card sketches which she creates herself, and other crafts, like beading. But by the standard of her work, you simply wouldn't guess she's only 13!! Yes.. 13. I actually can't quite believe that Hanna has such an amazing talent.

Totally inspirational!

Why not nip over and say Hi.. I'm sure she'd love to hear from you.

Love Jo xx

Recapturing Wonders

Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a great week. It's time to show you another one of my favorite paper crafters. I'd like to introduce you to
Jessica Rosario and her blog Recapturing Wonders. She describes her style of card making as clean and simple. She's super talented. I've been following her blog for the majority of this year and I'm never disappointed in what she designs.

Look at this first card. I remember gasping when I first saw it. Doesn't it want to make you create your own version?

I think it's my favorite card that she's ever designed. Wow!

I love the texture on next this card. I love the teapot image too.

I like the linen texture and her use of watercolor pencils on the Thank You Berry Much card.

This card is SO creative. A fan with some dimension; I love it!

I loved her use of elements like felt, lace, and buttons. Such a well designed card!

I love Jessica's style. It very clean and fresh.

Hi Everyone

Sorry for the lack of posts from me.. things have just been a bit hectic in life, you know how it gets!

Anyway, I have still been browsing around the web and found lots of lovely blogs to share with you.

I'll start off with THIS one, which belongs to a lovely lady called Lou. I heard back the other day that she didn't mind if I featured her, which is great because I'm sure you're gonna love it!

When I first found Lou's blog, I totally fell in love with this card. The shape is so different to what you normally find, and it's just so cute.

This was my next favourite. I love the way the elements and colouring go together - I've seen lots of folks use this stamp, but they never catch my eye like this one did.

Quite simple, but very very stylish. The colours just say Christmas don't they?

I'm sure you'll love her projects too. so why not nip over and say HI.. I'm sure Lou would love to hear from you all. The blog link is Lulu's Cardmaking.

Welcome to Payne Holler Cards

I spend most of my time just looking around these amazing blogs and occassionally I find an artist that absolutely leaves me speechless. When you take a look at Linda's blog you'll be speechless also. I am amazed that I am the 1st to find and feature her work here at Inspirational Blog. Linda and I want to welcome you to Payne Holler Cards.
I knew when I saw the word HOLLER, this girl was about as country as me. Linda lives in Virginia, works full time after over an hour commute one way , makes time for family, teaches Sunday School, Bible study for women at the local jail and says card making is her relaxer. Can you just imagine her cardmaking when she retires??? She has only been crafting for 30 years can't wait to see what she does the next 30. So let's get started.
I sort of picked out fall looking cards to begin with. I love these colors.

This little fish bowl is one of my favorites. The way the water glistens looks so real. She has tips usually following each card telling the ingredients and how-to's. So be sure and take a look at her blog.

I don't know where to begin describing each card so I'm going to try and spread them out to give you an idea of her amazing talent.
She uses every technique I have ever heard of and some that I have NEVER heard of. Don't worry, she'll be your guide from start to finish. She makes it sound so easy even a beginner could give it a try.

She designed these flowers so lifelike one can almost smell their sweetness. Amazing detail and techniques.

She glitters, sponges, stamps, masks, mats, uses pigment powder, flower soft, copics, negatives, tells you how to add layers that you never realize are even there. She doesn't say but I'm betting she loves animals.

This cat is amazing. Look at those beautiful eyes.

Take a look at this majestic deer, absolutely stunning.

I'll finish up with winter, Tilda and Christmas . I could go on and on but you have to visit her blog, Payne Holler Cards.

I want to thank Linda for allowing me to share her truly awesome creations with you. Just from her work I think she would welcome us to visit, sit awhile and have a cup of coffee. That's just the way of these wonderful people who call these "hollers" home. I already feel that I have a new friend. And YEP....she made her own header. Don't you love it??? One more thing...she says she would love to be on a design team. I expect she will have so many offers she will have to say no to some.
Until next time...keep crafting.

Got time for a cuppa .... better make it Cocoa!!

Don't you just love blog hopping when you come across a blog you didn't even know was there, despite the whole world knowing about it, lol. Well that is what happened to me yesterday when I finally discovered the amazing talent that is Iris from Paper Crafting in Cocoa .

Iris' blog is crammed full of gorgeousness, honestly it is a really beautiful blog to visit, full of fabulous creations and inspiration.

The attention to detail is just perfect both inside and out.

Fabulous use of colour and such an eye for what really makes a card special.
Totally droolworthy, each and every creation.
Gorgeous embellies and finishing touches.

It was so difficult choosing just a few cards to share with you because they are all just so incredible. So you will just have to leave the housework, grab a cuppa and enjoy the next hour or so looking at them all yourself.
