Trick or Treat?

No tricks here:-A Nostalgic Halloween is full of treats.

Kris Dickinson has recently started a blog dedicated to Vintage/Altered Halloween crafts. Full of ATC's and Inchies this is already one to watch for the future. Click here to see these miniature creations.

I love the composition of this ATC and the same treatment is applied to this stunning stamped puzzle piece.

A clever and creative twist on an altered birdhouse makes for a pretty vintage halloween decoration.

When you pop over to Kris's blog to say Happy Halloween don't forget to visit her other blog full of mixed media creations Nostalgic Collage Here. Kris really is an artist trading card queen.

Justine's Polar Bear Christmas

I really love this original polar bear Christmas card, designed by Justine. The pink accent is so effective and unusual, and the way the bear peeps around the aperture is super. I see that Justine is celebrating her 40th birthday this weekend, so make her day and click HERE to wish her a happy day and see more of her work.

Paulien van den Bosh lives in The Netherlands and spends her spare time creating the most beautiful cards, in one of the prettiest craft rooms I have ever seen.

Her gorgeous acrylic Christmas album holds page after page of beautiful layering.

Pauliens cards show the same level of attention to detail. She has mastered the fine art of applying just the right amount of embellishments and knows exactly what to do with her left over scraps of paper.

Green With Envy (but they're very pretty greens!)

Now I only get time to make one recommendation a week, these days, so forgive me.. I am going to make the most of it, photographs-wise! ;o)

I have been getting quite adventurous in my hopping lately, and found myself in a strange land where I didn't speak the lingo, but it was an enchanted forest of delicate and fresh green. These are a selection of the most gorgeous green-ness you could wish to see.

They are from ZHANNA, and I'm afraid I don't know which country you're in, Zhanna... all I know is that the language was Cyrillic in style, so Russia, possibly? Belarus? Ukraine? Please forgive my ignorance! And the other thing I'm glad of is that you knew enough English to say 'yes' when I asked you! ;o)

Zhanna's beautiful blog is HERE. Do go and spend a moment or three, and say hello.
