Meet Anita aka Neeta :)

I'm very happy to introduce you to the oh-so-talented Anita:)
I must admit that I find it a bit hard to write this, as I just don't know where to start...
This started out wanting to write about her scrapbooking, but looking through Anita's blog I got fascinated by her cards and then I descovered her art journaling - wow!

I think I'll start with her beautiful layouts:)
Anita has a way to capture an emotion in her photo and use papers and embellishments to make the emotion stronger.

She often makes her own backgrounds, or put details to readymade ones to make them better. It's so clever how she has used glimmermist (?) on this one to make it look like she have used two different papers for her background:

OK - this is not a good thing, but I have to admit that I don't pay much attention to card makers.
It's not that I think less of them, it's more that I don't find it that intersting. But after seeing Anita's work I think I have to change my mind. Her cards is artwork!

This is a Christmas card you should frame and put up every Christmas - it's a small present in itself.

I also have the little giraffe stamp, but the way Anita colour it makes it look totally different from mine. Anita is a master in colouring her stamped items!!!
In her blog you can find a step-by-step tutorial how to use distress ink to give life to stamped items.

This Valentine card is just sooo cute! I wonder if it's possible to get my husband to make one of these ;)

After looking through Anita's blog, and seeing her wonderful art journal I have tried to start my own art journal. I find so much inspiration in her pages - just look:

It's a shame to have these in a book, they should have been framed and put in a gallery!

And, as usual, my favourites:)
I had to pick two this time, one layout and one page for art journaling.

I just LOVE the way Anita has made her own background here.
It's so playful, and just so beautiful!

This art journaling page really captured my eye.
I love the effect of the photo with the letters behind, and the butterflies are so beautiful!

Thank you so much Anita for all the inspiration you give us!
Make sure to visit her blog and leave some nice comments:)

Teri's Blog Spot

I haven't posted anything for quite awhile but like everyone else, summer is super busy. Today I'd like you to meet Teri.
When you take a look at her blog you are going to think, how does she take care of a husband, 3 children and 2 beautiful dalmatians? She manages and does an awesome job.

Take a look at this Matchbox Advent Box. I love this and look at those beautiful colors. Most of her work is very bright but one of my favorite pieces is the card and gift bag below. I adore these soft colors that fit perfectly together.

When I saw this next 2 pocket card I wanted to run to my scrappy place and create. Look at the detail of that flower. Beautiful!!!

I fell in love with this little bunny. He is adorable and just look at those colors!!!

I think I picked this last card because it reminds me of my daughter. She is a little farm girl and loves nothing better than planting flowers and gardens. I think she just loves to watch them grow.

There is so much more to see so hop on over and spend some time with Teri. She will definitely inspire you.
Thanks Teri for allowing me to share a small part of your world with the rest of the world.

Jenny from the block but better!!

Not just any Jenny from the block, Jeja has as much if not more style than J-Lo herself!!
You only have to look at the little details like the wired birdcage on this card to know that this lady has something special!

All three of Jejas' most recent layout have got my "wows" going and then as I looked backwards through her blog I discovered she can do altered boxes too.....yay I love admiring these!! No wonder Graphic45 have just chosen Jeja to be a guest designer.

These three layouts use the latest Webster Pages products..........

If you are into the technical side of "paperology" then check out her fan banner......because Jenny can fold paper like nobody I know and it was this technique that has made me such a "fan" of her work!!

Look at these two fabulous cards from Barbara Foster - so completely different but they really caught my eye. You'll find the shabby chic one here. The other card uses a gorgeous stamp which Barbara has called Halloween Diva I adore this stamp and Barbara has shown some other fabulous cards using this image including a Wedding Card. Maybe it was something in the name that caught my eye!
Do check out Barbara's site for some lovely work - and go look for those Halloween Bird Houses!

Ann and Her Creative Antics

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend. The weather is perfect and warm (not hot) here in Northern California.

Time for me to bring you another one of my favorite paper crafters. Ann Cox of Creative Antics is a queen of the clean and simple style of card making.

I've been following her work for over 9 months. She's very inspirational and I'm sure you will love seeing her work too.

This fushia, black, white, and olive colored card is perfection! Wow.

Doesn't her butterfly card want to make you pull out your Martha Stewart butterfly punch and get to work? Cute.

I love Ann's use of vellum, ribbon, and embroidered embellishments.

Just simply elegant and beautiful! Perfect clean and simple.

Please stop by Ann's blog today and tell her you saw her on Inspirational. Have a good one!
