Could I have some feedback please.....

Hello everyone

I have received a lovely email from one of Inspirational's readers and have taken her comments on board and feel that I should give you all the option to give me some feedback

Are you happy with the content of this blog?

Would you like to see more of a certain craft featured? Maybe Art Blogs, Sewing Blogs etc......

Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts and feel free to link to any blogs that you would like to see featured especially if they are different to the normal crafts we feature and I will definitely check them out

Hi there,
I would love to see inspirational ideas for different crafts. I scrap and make cards, and I do make some jewelery as well. But I also like entertaining, especially for kids parties. Feel free to visit my blog, as the very first entry is about my daughters 'Halloween Birthday' party. And I'm proud to say that I made all the decor.
I would love to see some inspiration for different themed parties and general decorating.
Another aspect of scrapping that I would like to learn more about is photography and editing in Photoshop. I have picked up some really creative things to do with photo's but I've never had a good reference site for quick reminders or easy steps. Thank you for the chance to give some input, this site is just getting better and better!!!

So far I think it's a great mix! I love the stamping and scrapping and the jewelry is beautiful to see. I'm not into altered art/collage stuff, but I know a lot of people are! It's been great!

me again.. just reading Andrea's blog and I have to agree... something about scrapping and the photography side of it too.. I don't mean the photography/photoshop tutorial sites, because they are very easy to find and there are hundreds.. as are the free digi scrapping sites..

Only a thought x

I am inclined to think, "don't fix what isn't broken" when it comes to this blog. It has always been a fantastic site to visit, and very much lives up to it's name.
It's a difficult one as far as content is concerned. I personaly would keep it more centred around papercrafts, otherwise you can easily drift off into all sorts. Then again crafting is not just about paper.
As long as what is blogged here is truely inspirational, and not something that i can see on any other blog, i will always enjoy my time here. What makes this site for me, is that i know the majority of the makes posted, have had had a lot of time and effort put into them.....over and above what we usualy throw together in an evening. The attention to detail and totaly dedication of makes here blow me away at times, so as long as it does'nt stray from that, i think you can't go far wrong.
Thats just my opinion though Julie, always good to get feedback.

In my opinion, the more variety, the better! I am inspired by all forms of arts and crafts, and I enjoy seeing the variety of artistic styles that you feature on your blog.

Are you kiddig - love this blog! I check it out every day! I like that it features all types of Paper/stamping projects with a wide variety of styles. I would like it kept to paper crafting as that is all I am interested in... I just love it here!!!

I would prefer it to keep to papercrafts and jewellery making....not that I make jewellery but I know a lot of papercrafters do.
How about starting a second blog.....Inspirational Home or something like that where you could feature blogs that venture into things like sewing for the home, planning and decor for parties etc. Then people would know where to go for ideas for those kind of projects and it wouldn't be all mixed in with cards and scrapbooks etc.
Just a thought:)

Hi Julie
When I'm surfing I usually know right away if I see something I love - I have scoured ALL sorts of craft sites from cards to actual artists, mixed media to sewing, if someone has made something "Inspirational" (and of course it is only my opinion) whatever artwork it is, I am willing to feature them and share it here.

Hugs
Dawn

I agree with Dawn, if I see something that makes me go wow, I would love to have made that, then I will feature it here, no matter what kind of craft it is.

I think definately stick with all sorts of crafts whatever they may be, papercrafts, filmo, etc

but branching out into home decor, photography, etc some of what I love about the Inspirational blog might be lost.

The idea of setting up another blog to feature photography, party decor, home decor, etc sounds like a good idea!

So maybe a papercraft Inspirational and just a general Inspirational blog?????

But as Calv has said, don't fix what isn't broken.

Well that's my two pennies worth, and this is just my opinion!

I prefer to keep the blog just the way it is. Visiting every day and here I find lots of inspiration for cards and scrap. Inspiration for furniture and other art can I find in other blogs.

Hi there,
I am from Germany, so I am sorry for my English;-) Every day I check this fantastic blog to see what people create with paper. It's a source for Paper/Cards-inspirations.
In my opinion this blog in an institution for presenting PAPER craft work.

I love a mix of all crafts. Seems like you feature lots of cards- not my thing.

I love your blog and visit it daily, Im getting more into mixed media / techniques etc so a bit of that would be good but Im not into home furnishing etc. I agree with others, I would google a different type of site.
stick with the key word "papercraft"

WOW so much love and heartfelt admiration here...thanks you guys, I know that it is Julie's blog, but as my team mates will agree, It's such an honour to be scouring the WWW to bring you all inspiration.

I have to admit, that I spotlight mainly Scrapbook LOs {as thats my thing} but I will start searching in other areas too!

Please continue to share your opinions with us all as it really is appreciated. Thanks also to Julie for having the inspiration to begin this AWESOME blog.

I also echo what Calv said "don't fix what ain't broke" ;)

I love this blog just the way it is. I love all papercrafting so this is my daily stop. You feature different sites that feature scrapbooking, stamping, templates, collage art, atc's...all sorts of paper crafts. I love it all. If you run into something that catches your eye, feature it here but I would love it if it stayed the way it is. Thank you for all your work into keeping us updated.

I love your blog and visit it every day. The diversity is SUPER! So please go on and make me happy. Thanks for this perfect blog.

I Love this blog too-I love everything you put on it, but I would like to sometimes see things that are less 'pretty' and more 'edgy', or 'arty'-mixed media etc from time to time. However I would rather it stuck to papercrafts, stamping-just expand a little witnin these areas. I don't particularly want to see knitting, or handbags etc, although if these were to spark off papercrating ideas, then I would see the point.

I love what you are showing. I am amazed at the artwork that I find here. It's stuff I would not ordinarily find my way to, so it is a real treat to have all this fabulous artwork "discovered" for us! Great job!
