A New Design

Ashley Newell is one of my favorite paper crafters. You need to check out her blog, A New Design. She is amazingly talented! I love her style. It's fresh and young. She recently started filming YouTube videos.

Look at this first card. Like a lot of her work, it looks like it came out of the pages of Cards or Paper Crafts magazine (her work has been published in both magazines). I need to make a birthday card for my niece. This card is good inspiration for me.

This next card is stunning. I never thought to combines those colors together. I love all her details.

This next card is very fun too. I love stitching on cards. That yellow trim is fun.


















Isn't this layout super cute? Ashley's husband, Mac, is a professional photographer. Ashley helps Mac during his photo shoots. Here's a cute layout of Layla, a child Mac recently photographed.

I love these Prima-style lollipop flowers Ashley made. I also love the way she used ribbon to make the stems.
