Erum's Beautiful Blog

Erum is from Karachi in Pakistan and has limited craft resources at hand - no 12x12 paper or punches, she also has no stamps and draws some of her images herself, but she is so resourceful and creative and adds a whole new meaning to "hand crafted" her cards literally ARE... She uses wrapping paper instead of 12x12, dyes her own paper which amazingly gives it a stunning effect, doodles and colours her paper, draws and cuts her own flowers - I am in awe at how her creations evolve. Her cards are so beautiful and colourful but the amount of work she has put into them is awesome. You must go visit Erum's blog HERE - it truly is a creative journey and I love her little stories as well!! A talented and Inspirational lady indeed!

Kath Goes Vintage!

One of the definitions in my dictionary of the word 'vintage' is 'representative of the best', so I'm sure my Funky Hand DT mate, Kath, won't mind me describing her as vintage!! lol (Actually, I'm glad I live so far away from her in this moment!! hehe)

When I joined the team here, I thought I ought to perhaps avoid featuring my DT mates, in case it was thought of as 'favouritism', but when I saw this card on Kath's blog today, I fell in love! But then, I often do with Kath's cards! I hope you enjoy it, too!

Oh! And by the way, it is based on a sketch by one of my other DT mates, Carol, who is also an awesome talent, and was only featured on here last week! :o)

Girls, you ROCK the 'sphere!

Altered Cutlery

I was initially surprised when I saw this, but then I looked again and really liked what I saw. How many of us have got the odd bit of cutlery that we are no longer happy to use for the purpose that it was designed for I wonder??? Well maybe you could alter it and make a feature of it like Kyla did.... Check it out and more on Kyla''s Blog

Debbie's sweet stamping...

This is not the first time that my friend, Debbie Fryer, has been featured on Inspirational, but I came across these two beauties on her blog yesterday, and just had to show them off to you...
As with Jorunn's post below, it was the colour choice here that caught my eye.. not the same kind of colouring beauty to the artist Jorunn featured, but breath-taking for me in a different way, and who can resist this sweet stamp by Elisabeth Bell? Anyway, I hope you enjoy my selection!

Debbie's blog, Pink Poppy Craftbox, can be found HERE.
