Mothers Day Recipe made with love from Jeanet

When I found Jeanets blog My Scrap Ideas I realised that her creations can all be turned into beautiful gifts for mothers day, her work is charmingly vintage and exquisitely crafted and her blog is full of wonderful ideas...here are some of my favourites.

It is March and Mothers Day will be apon us before we know it. Make sure you have it on your calendar so you can leave yourself enough time to create something handmade and beautiful for the special women in your life.

A gift doesn't have to be expensive to be beautiful. Simply make it with love and care like this adorable box that that the gorgeously talented Jeanet has made and fill it with items you know the recipient will enjoy.

How about this hanging love-heart cushion to show Mum how much you love her........
or a beautiful box with some chocolates, bath salts or a gift voucher inside....... A basket covered in pretty papers and a selection of toiletries cleverly wrapped in cellophane and ribbons to complement the colour scheme.....

or a recycled glass jar that Jeanet has turned into a vintage work of art and can easily be filled with something equally delicious.......(it goes without saying mine would be chocolates...hint...hint)
Make mother a sweet card........... and send it with LOVE

But before you do any of this visit Jeanet at her blog My Scrap Ideas and bathe in the overwhelming love she puts into each of her creations.......oh and yes there are lots of pretty cards to look at too.

What a Blog!

Personally, I can't stop myself from looking!

The blog I'd like to feature for you today belongs to a lovely lady called Anso. Her blog is here in all its glory, and boy are you going to be amazed!

The projects on this blog are absolutely fantastic - I love them all! There are cards, scrapbook pages, tutorials and other items..... lots of lovely stuff for you to peruse through... but grab your coffee first!

Here are some of the items on Anso's blog.. take a peek - you won't be disappointed I promise!

I just love the shabby chic look of this card - why do mine never turn out like this? lol.

Now, wouldn't this just have pride of place on your studio desk?
A little bit late to feature a christmas card (or could it be early???) but I just love the way this card has been put together.

And finally, as one person who always promises to try scrapbooking on a more serious note, isn't this layout just brilliant?? I love the whole thing..

Bella Vida

Let me introduce you to Norma Kennedy's blog Bella Vida, which I think translates into "Beautiful Life", from the moment you enter Bella Vida you get a feeling of freshness and beauty which carries over on to her creations. Just take a look at her header, I absolutely adore it!

The following samples of her work are all on one page, and she includes close-ups.

I went a little deeper into her blog to show you some more inspiration .....

and a few pics of where she creates ..... THIS WOULD BE MY DREAM CRAFTING AREA, wow!!!

Do go and check out BELLA VIDA, but be prepared, a cuppa or a glass a chocolate biscuit or two, I spent hours looking at her blog when I first popped on there! Take a look at her slide shows on her side bar.
