Tethered 2 Home

Hello, Inspirational readers! Today I'd like to showcase another one of my favorite paper crafters. Amy from Tethered2Home is amazingly talented! She creates cards, scrapbooks pages, and alters 3D items. She lives in Ottawa, Canada. I love the digital scrapping and hybrid card-making she's doing recently.

I've been familiar with her work for about a year. I'm very inspired by her. I'd love to include more digi-elements in my card-making. This first card is a Mother's Day card for her mother. It includes digital elements. I love it!

The following card is one of my favorites of her recent creations. I love the boldness of the white letters on a black background.

I love the following digi-pages Amy created with her son, Liam, as the focal point. Very sweet!

And finally, here are some 3D items Amy created recently. She used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and some etching cream to alter this IKEA lamp.

Stop by her blog and tell Amy you saw her on Inspirational. Have a great day!

Aloha and Have You Seen Jen Tapler's Work?

We must be in a Hawaiian state of mind today here at Inspirational, because both Rleen and myself are bringing you paper crafters from the great state of Hawaii. Jen Tapler lives in Maui (my favorite place in the world). She is one seriously talented lady. She's on several design teams, including Verve Stamps and Paper Craft Planet.

Her Halloween party invitation was recently published in You're Invited (A Scrapbook Trends publication).

She's a scrapbooker that easily goes between the traditional, hybrid, and digi scrapping worlds.

Over a year ago she started stamping and making cards and she's completely talented in that area too! A lot of her designs incorporate paper that she's printed from digital designs. This is one of my favorite cards.

I love the altered art she creates.

One of my favorite things about Jen is her passion. She raises awareness and money for the Alzheimer's Association. Her father suffers from the disease. Right now, Jen has a Blogoversary Challenge to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. You have until tonight (Friday, April 3, 11:59 PM Central Time, GMT - 5) to enter. In early May she's having she a Stampin' Out Alzheimer's event to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association.
Check out her blog today. Mahalo (thanks)!
