Doing Life with Desire..........

Beautiful Watch and Bracelet Set

Well this lady's blog is just an absolute joy. Desire lives in South Africa and her blog is just bursting with stories of her life, family and friends not to mention all the beautiful things she creates. Layouts, Cards, Jewellery there is no end to Desire's talents. I remember the first time I visited her blog and was just in awe at the wonderful pictures and tales of family life - Such a breath of fresh air to read...
Her cards are so beautifully created with her own distinctive style and she was recently commissioned to make this wonderful watch and bracelet set I am also featuring today.
A lot of you will know Desire already but for those who don't, please take time to visit and soak in the wonderful blog that is "Doing Life"
Also a Big Thank You to Jose for nominating Desire's Blog...

Molly Speaks......

And now for something a bit different......
While blog hopping yesterday I came upon Molly's thought provoking and wonderful blog "Her Speak" and saw this amazing charcoal self portrait - very striking and haunting - I'm sure Molly won't mind me saying...

Molly is a fine art student and creates amazing pieces - take a look at this Copper Collar - stunning artwork which she says was inspired by historical costumes and Planet Earth.
I loved reading Molly's posts describing how each project was developed.

Ana's African Inspired Jewellery

Ana makes wonderful jewellery but this necklace and earring set is truly inventive - made from a paper bag - (I had to read it twice to make sure!) brought from Africa and folded using Origami she has created a little gem! The necklace also has Macrame knots, beads and plaiting. Amazing what you can create with lots of creativity and imagination. You can see the rest of Ana's work HERE
